Service Consulting

We charge as per the actual upon completion of the consulting services, since it depends on your need. Normally we charge at the rate of USD 30 an hour for service consulting. With regard to quotation requests no fee will be applicable against it.

Quality Assurance :

Your voice conversations over phone or skype would be recorded for training and quality assurance purposes. We wish to keep you informed on this, as this is our standard policy.

Payment Terms :

50% upfront on all projects and remaining on completion of the projects. With regard to the real time projects 25% upfront will be collected depending upon the quantum of the project and remaining payments will be collected as per the works completed.

Exchange and Refund Policy :

We provide no Refunds. 50% upfront paid will not be refunded if the project or the job has been started or paper signed.

If there is a situation based on our decisions, if and when we offer a refund under such circumstances we further reserve the right to make an administration charge that will never exceed 35% of the order value. Also if the project is confirmed to have a start in writing and crossed three weeks we cannot extend any refund.

Secure payments :

All payments will be made through internationally secure arrangements provided by Paypal, Bank to bank Transfer (ICICI) within industry accepted secure environments and with adequate facility to cancel payment or to make contact with us for clarification through the e-mail address published.

www.cainfotechindia.com is provided free of charge to you by Mr. Shiva Kumar C, under these Terms and Conditions. By using these named web sites you are agreeing to be bound by this set of Terms and Conditions.

Shiva Kumar C holds all Intellectual Property rights for the information held within the above mentioned web sites. Re-production of information contained within the named web sites must be by written (or e-mailed) consent by Mr. Shiva Kumar C.

You acknowledge that our above mentioned web sites permit access to content that is protected by copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual and proprietary rights. These Rights are valid and protected in all media and technologies existing now or later developed; and except as explicitly provided otherwise, these Terms and Conditions and applicable copyright, trademark and other laws govern your use of such Rights. General terms :

This Agreement represents the entire understanding between the parties in relation to its subject matter and supersedes all agreements and representations made by either party, whether oral or written.

Nothing contained in this Agreement is to be construed as creating any agency, partnership or any other form of joint enterprise between the partie.

The parties agree that, save as expressly set out in this Agreement, neither party will have any liability for any statement or representation made by it (whether innocently or negligently) upon which the other party relied in entering into this Agreement, unless such statement or representation was made fraudulently.

If any part, term or provision of this Agreement is held to be illegal or unenforceable the validity or enforceability of the remainder of this Agreement will not be affected.

We reserve the right to change the terms held within this document at any time without prior notice.

These Terms will be governed by and construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India and all parties to this Agreement submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Indian Courts.

TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES

Upon receiving audio/video, we assess and declare the transcription category. Pricing, TAT and quality are according to the transcription category. Transcription which are of the following type would need full upfront payments. Multiple speakers with indiscernible voice overlapping, Constant Background noise or music, Tough Foreign Accent, Detective Recordings, Extraordinary Formatting specifications (MS Excel, web browser based applications). Rate estimate can be had only after thorough assessment on the audio quality. Transcribing these category audio is the toughest job. It might take 3 to 4 times more effort compare to other category transcription work.

First-time clients have to pay 50% of the estimated bill or token advance as decided by CA Infotech India.

Invoices are due within 10 days of the receipt. Discrepancies, if any, should be reverted within 3 to 5 days of the invoice date.

CA Infotech India’s invoices are payable by the respective client entities not the individual who represents the client.

Quality delivered by CA Infotech India during No Obligation Trial is the indication of quality. Transcription assumes that sample audio material submitted is the best representation of the lot.

Under no circumstances will CA Infotech India accept "Master" or "Original" source tapes or materials. Client hereby acknowledge that the source materials submitted to CA Infotech India, be they VHS, DVD, miniDV, DVCAM, Audio Cassette, or any other type of media, are of zero ($0.00) commercial value.

CA Infotech India shall not be held liable for any loss or destruction of materials submitted by client, including but not limited to, losses incurred in the return shipping of sources back to client.

Client accepts that occasionally there will be unavoidable inaccuracies due to poor audio quality, obscure regional slang or dialect, unfamiliar proper names and nouns and in rare occasions, may be due to human negligence.

Transcription services rendered by CA Infotech India do not include any research or proofing to determine the correct spelling of proper nouns, geographical locations, technical jargon or slang. The client also acknowledges that spoken word is often very distinct from proper grammar. In particular, most people talk in run-on sentences, as such CA Infotech India will make a good faith effort to determine when one sentence ends and the next begins. However, client must accept that this is a judgment call and must agree that CA Infotech India will make no effort to correct grammar or proof-read material for grammar.

Any claims of defect by the client must be submitted within 7 days of the completed transcript being forwarded to the e-mail account the client specified when establishing an account with CA Infotech India.
